Christopher Harvin has practiced the arts of public, crisis, political, and corporate communications in more than 60 countries and 40 American states and has provided counsel to the White House, multiple cabinet agencies, foreign governments, and numerous high-profile clients around the world.

Mr. Harvin is a founding partner at Sanitas International, a global strategic communication, public affairs, digital media and political advisory firm based in Washington with offices in the Middle East. He is also the senior vice president of Barbaricum, a small business, veteran-owned contracting firm specializing in strategic communications and renewable energy strategies for the U.S. government.

Mr. Harvin previously served the White House and held senior advisory positions with the Office of the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, members of Congress and the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. He has also represented multiple heads of state and governments in emerging markets and developing countries in areas such as the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. Among them include the government of Trinidad and Tobago, Government of Afghanistan, the Executive Office of Dubai, and the Dubai International Financial Centre. Mr. Harvin has provided strategy to political and advocacy campaigns both nationally and internationally, including four presidential campaigns, numerous Senate and congressional campaigns, dozens of corporate advocacy campaigns and numerous foreign heads of state.

At times, Mr. Harvin has been tapped to manage media operations during White House trips to the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He played an integral role in historic White House visits to Afghanistan, China, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, as well as several of the Former President and First Lady’s trips to the G-8 and NATO Summits.
